From the creator of Mobile Suit Gundam, Ideon featured some really original mecha designs, this is the show's title mecha and probably the least alien looking of the many mecha in the series. The mecha in this show are generally a lot bigger than those in the Gundam shows, the Ideon itself is over one hundred metres tall and is modular, being able to break down and transform into a number of smaller vehicles.
