The Super Dimension Fortress-1 Macross was a giant, alien space-battleship rebuilt by mankind after crashing on Earth. Also familiar to many people from the US version of Macross which formed the first segment of the Robotech Saga.
The ship is seen here in its "Cruiser Fortress" mode, passing Saturn on its journey back to Earth after a failed space-fold operation, intended to take it to the Moon, landed it in the orbit of Pluto.
