I started building this bad guy mecha from Gundam Wing simply because I liked the design but ended up shelving it before it was finished after being sidetracked by other jobs. When Firefury and One asked me to do some pictures for their fanfic site one of the mecha they required was a Serpent II so I finished off the Serpent and then modified it to create the Serpent II. I didn't actually get around to rendering an image of the Serpent for about six weeks after finishing the CG model and to save time I produced a very simple background which works quite well.
